The daily walk-down that confirms the CNC cell is safe to run before the first cut.
Put on safety glasses
Eyes protected before you enter the cell.
Inspect torch consumables and lens
Check the nozzle and lens for wear or spatter; replace anything pitted.
Check for hydraulic or coolant leaks
A slick floor or low coolant takes the machine out of service until resolved.
Verify E-stop and limit switches
Test the E-stop and confirm the axis limit switches trip cleanly.
Confirm the bed is clear
No offcuts, tools, or material left under the gantry from the prior shift.
